A Summer Breeze...

Hello!

Today I've been sunning it up (or turning myself into a tomatoe) in my back garden. Like everyone else in the UK, I've been taking advantage of the lovely sun that's made an appearence during the last few weeks. As the weather was cooler today, I chose an easy summer combination to wear.

Despite the recent heat, my Topshop summer jeans have been used no end, over the last month. My Jamie jeans fall to just above the ankle, which is great during summer, as they can be rolled up futher to create a 'I'm ready to run in the sea' look. My favourite item this summer, has to be my River Island shirt, with a beautiful butterfly pattern on it. It's one of those items you can literally wear with anything to add a splash of pattern. I wore the shirt over my New Look pink crop top. Since purchasing a few weeks ago, I can't belive how much use it's had. It's simple colour and floral patter makes a great combination with jeans or patterned skirts.

My sandals have also been a god send this year. Clarks are always on hand to provide style and comfort for every season, so my sandals have not let me down so far (and they've literally been everywhere with me)! I always think it's worth having leather shoes in warm summer weather, as they continue to keep your feet feeling fresh...that and the fact that after 4 hours of walking along the sea fron (usually too and from the ice cream parlour), i'm still blister free! But that's enough of my ramble... though if Clarks every need an official representative, you know where I am!

What I'm Wearing: Jeans - Top Shop, Clutch & Shirt - River Island, Crop Top - New Look, Glasses - Jack Wills, Shoes & Necklace - Primark.

Have a lovely week, whatever your plans.

Love

Outfit post: Oasap Shirt Dress

Hello! Hope you're having a lovely weekend wherever you are. The sun has been out today (which makes a change from all the rain this week), so I took the opportunity to take a few photos of my latest purchase from Oasap!

I've been looking for a while for a little dress to wear for something casual during the day. I chose this little number as it looked adorable on the Oasap website. I particularly liked the collared shirt as I knew it would look great with a woolly jumper over it. The dress came up quite large for a size Medium, and could have brought it in a small, but the thin brown belt that came with it helped to shape the dress. For this look I wanted to go minimalistic, so I covered up with a teal blue cardigan from New Look and wore my favourite Clark's brogues. My necklace was brought a few weeks ago from Primark, and I felt it added the finishing touches to the dress.

What I'm Wearing: Dress - Oasap, Cardigan - New Look, Bag - Charity Shop.

That's all from me today. I'm eagerly anticipating the season finale of Downton Abbey this evening - as you know my love of period drama's never changes, so I can't wait to see how it ends!

Lots of Love,

Pretty little satchels...

Hello!
So it's start of the week (though it doesn't it feel like it) and a little gift that can through the post over the weekend is what's going to keep me going!

As you may (or may not) know, I have a teeny obsession with satchels, and my latest gift from Oasap has certainly made me very handbag proud!

With a wide variety of beautiful colours I chose a deep green bag with a tan lace around the edges. The bag is not leather, but is made to a high quality which could easily fool the eye. I particularly liked the sewing details around the outside if the bag which add character and make the beg look more rustic. The size of the satchel is perfect for a day out, as you can fit all the necessities in without having to worry about space/bumping into every person you pass/wishing you'd brought your brolly after convincing yourself you wouldn't need it. It's structured frame makes it suitable for work/collage too, and the little pockets on the front make it suitable for storing the 'I'm going to  loose these' items'.

As the first showers of September left me with a cold this weekend - going to a university open day without my coat was not a sensible idea - I'm being a little brave in my outfit choice. I chose a little skater skirt I brought in a river island sale a few years ago, with a new look coral blouse and my shoes which are a new addition to my collection of brogues! As it's London Fashion Week at the moment - though I'm trying to avoid this topic, being gutted I'm not there - I've been getting far too excited about Summer 2014, and forgetting about the long winter I'm sure we've got in store. For that reason, this may be my last 'without tights' post for a while now...so be prepared for woolly tights, thick jumpers and oversized coats!

What I'm Wearing: Bag - OASAP, Top - New Look, Skirt - River Island.
That's all from me, make sure you check out the OASAP winter collection - it looks fab and well I'm a tad obsessed already!

Have a lovely week, wherever you are!

Lots of Love,

Casting an Autumn Spell X

Well I've just about recovered after a crazy weekend!
Kelly Clarkson was amazing on Sunday - She's been an idol of mine since I was little, so it was so great to finally see her - and that she sang all my old time favourites too!!!!!
We've got half term next week, but lucky me - I've got work experience! So it won't be much of a break.
Still I'm very excited, as any opportunity to develop my understanding of a career in Marketing should be fun! Plus it gives me something productive to do with my week - apart from shopping!
I'm off now to one of my many dance lessons, followed by a piano lesson - the joys of being young!

As I've been majorly busy, I'm throwing on whatever's at the front of the wardrobe at the moment, relying on my classic 'blue scarf' that I'm way to obsessed with! While completing some (unskilled) photography of my Garden for my art homework, here's a little sneak at today's mixxxxxx mash!

If Celebs wear it... So can we! X

Hey Ho, to my fashionista's!

Well, we've got a glimmer of sun here in the United Kingdom, but I've refused to leave my home without updating my blog for you all. If your a Jessie J fan (like me) I was fascinated by her recent make over! She's gone from her 'teenage' bold statement outfits, and dramatic make up. To a more stylish and glamours Jessie J. Rumour has it, she sacked her old stylist, as she felt her 'signature' look, was beginning to look more like a "Cartoon Character" - I can see what she means! So what do you think? Can Jessie J really glamour up forever - for me she has so much attitude, I expected the crazy outfits to come with it.
