What a Sweetie Pie... Spring Pastel Nails X

Since my last post, I've been locked in my room revising (like most kiddo's my age).
So, I decided to do a 'see how long I can revise while painting my nails' experiment. In an attempt to paint my nails while revising, I managed  to get polish everywhere - including my textbooks...
It was a mission failed.

Still, it finally gave me something to post about! After a little shopping trip over the weekend, I've stocked up in pastel shades of nail paint, ready for the Spring - yay!

It's a huge trend at the moment to mix and match pastel shades! For those of you (like myself) who struggle to last 5 minutes without smudging nails, it's a great way to let your nails dry while your using different polishes!

Spring 2013 pastel nail paint, barrry M / Avon The nail polishes I've used are:

1. Avon Speed Dry in pastel green.
2. Barry M Nail Paint in baby pink.
3. Avon nailwear pro in light blue.

Barry M is one of my favourite brands for nail polish, followed closely by Avon. The colours in both collections always look lovely, and look the same colour when painted on, as the bottle (which makes a change!).

Are you feeling the Spring yet? Its difficult considering its around 2°C outside! Still, we can work around that factor...

That's all from me!

BarryM Nail Pollish Review X

Sorry, It's a late one today!
If you didn't know already, I sing in a Choral Choir - So as you can imagine, Sundays are a a little more than crazy! So between today's services, I've been happily having a 'paint and polish' time!

My mom went mad a few weeks ago and came back with some lovely Nail Polishes from Boots - and I instantly fell in love with today's choice: BarryM glitter Burgundy Nail Paint.

Maybelline nails - Yes Please!

So I was scouring the web, when I crossed a Maybelline post about it's latest venture for the Mark Fast SS13 Catwalk Show! I'm obsessed with nail paints, and these really rocked the Runway. Think Turquoise Lagoon nails with Minx Silver Wraps on top and you've got the idea. Minx nails are so amazing and quick to use too! I posted a 'how to' not long ago, using union jack patterns, visit here to see for yourself and it's great if you want unique patterns for that special occasion!

Olympic Nail Art - create your medal worthy nails!

Hey Fashionista's!

Okay, I've already said I'm addicted to the Olympics... I think the main reason is for the Gold worthy nail art used by the athletes - I never knew I'd find inspiration from athletes draped in sweat, receiving medals on a podium. The Olympic games has been inspiration for the whole world, (probably because its all that's on TV!) and there really is something exciting for everyone! Many of the athletes teamed up with the likes of Max Factor to create their 'one off' nail designs for the GB team members. Other athletes have opted for the minx effect for their nails... and as always - if they can do it, then so can we!
